So we had a wonderful Christmas. I spent Christmas Eve baking and cooking dinner. We had a friend, Katie, and her 2 year old daughter, Riley, over for dinner. Katie's husband, Jeremy, is also in the Air Force and had to work Christmas Eve thru the day after Christmas, so we invited the two girls to spend it with us. Anyways we had ham, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and homemade rolls for dinner and then apple pie a la mode and chocolate cake for dessert. After dinner Sean and I dropped off our last Pixie present at a friends house. When we got back Katie and I gave the kids a bath. It was absolutly hilarious! Everytime Riley would splash David would laugh so hard and they were getting water everywhere! Thank goodness for clear shower curtains! I took a video of it but the computer won't upload anything right now so that will have to come later. after bathes we did Christmas Eve presents: new ornaments for everyone and new jammies for the kids. We put David to bed and Riley stayed up a little longer. We put food away, filled stockings, and put out Santa presents before we went to bed.
Christmas morning was so fun! We had our dog Cherry open her presents and stocking first. She was so excited! So many toys to play with and things to chew on that she didn't know where to start. We tried to have David open his own presents but he just tried eating the bows and paper instead. David got books and bath toys and a new high chair/ booster seat for the table bibs and socks and then coming soon a new car seat! Sean got a lot of new electronic things but I think his favorite gift are the arrows I got for his hunting bow. I got lots of make-up and girly bath stuff plus some things for scrapbooking. Sean and I also got a gift from 'Santa' that we both love: Super nintendo with the original Mario brothers games! We spent most of christmas day playing that and passing David back and forth when it was our turn to play. Katie was awesome and made breakfast while Sean and I cleaned up. After breakfast katie and Riley left to go visit Jeremy out were he was stationed. The rest of the day we spent hanging out in our jammies, calling family, and watching movies.
