Dispatches, Girls, and Tempertures

So it has been an interesting week here in Montana. Sean was dispatched our to a missile silo overnight for the first time this week. Apparently someone broke the huge door that comes up to plug the hole down into the silo. The door wouldn't shut so they had to keep people posted as guards at the site around the clock until it was fixed and Sean happened to get the night shift.

The Headricks were over Wednesday night doing laundry and I gave Riley and David a bath that night. Of course the kids had lots of fun but Riley s jammies weren't dry yet so she ran around in her pull up after the bath. i fed David and put him to bed like normal. Sean was upstairs playing computer games and Katie, Jeremy, and i were downstairs talking and Riley was doing whatever. All of a sudden we heard her giggling like crazy. Katie or Jeremy made the comment that she must be having fun with Sean upstairs. I knew that she would be annoying Sean if she were upstairs with him so I turned on the monitor for Davids room and sure enough that is where she was. So I went upstairs to bring her down and put David back to bed. I was expecting her to be playing thru the crib bars and what not but no . . . I found a half naked little girl in bed with my son. :) They were just giggling and having fun. It was entertaining.

David has been sick and fussy the last 2 days and he had a fever of 101.1 yesterday so we called the doctor and they told us to take him to the ER. So we were in the ER last night getting him checked out and they gave him tylenol and motrin at the hospital and he slept all thru the night! It was awesome cause the previous night I was up 4 times with him and the night before that it was 10 times. His fever is down to about 100 today and we just have to keep up with the tylenol and motrin and then we will go see his regular doctor tomorrow for a follow up. And both Sean and I woke up with sore throats this morning. Yay for being sick!

  1. I'm guessing that David's fever went away and he is now happy and annoying his parents. Yay for grandkids!!!
