So the most exciting news is that David took a step all by himself on Friday night! He hasn't tried it since but we are really excited!!
Other than that we had a fairly normal week and just hung out with friends this weekend. I subbed for the paper route this week and that was awful but I made an extra $200 so that is nice. I am also going to be adding picture and video to my other blogs so go back and take a look. we finally got the picture thing on the computer fixed.

Yeah For Tax Returns!!
So most of the week was normal and boring. Sean worked a lot and i stayed home with David. But Thursday night we went to bed with about $5 in our bank account and Friday morning we woke up with $5500 in our bank account! Yeah for tax returns coming on the same day as Sean's paycheck! So we spent the weekend getting stuff done with the money.
We bought a new California King bed. It was 40% off so we could afford to buy it and that comes in about 2 weeks. i had to buy new bedding too, which also is marked down. I like Presidents day weekend sales :).
We paid off our Sears card and now we can put that monthly payment on Seans Student loans then next years tax return will pay off that loan. This is our new idea: With each tax return payoff our lowest balance debt and put the payment to the next lowest balance debt for the next year. So we are hoping that we will be debt free in the next 4 years! That is exciting. Now we just have to work on our savings.
But we also have set aside money to get a financial plan done by the financial planner I worked for during college.
Then we have been putting the money towards fixing our vehicles. Last night Sean and Andrew took off the bed of Sean's Dodge Ram 1500 so they could replace the fuel pump and then put it back on. Crazy boys did a 4 man job by themselves. They were both sore today. So the truck just needs a sensor replaced and the tow packing wiring hooked back up and it will be completely done.
For the Jeep we had a guy that Sean knows come over and dismantle the dash today. The heater core need to be replaced. It took so long that we has to come back tomorrow and put the new core in and put the dash back together.
We are also exciting for our 10 day trip to Vancouver at the end of this month. Time for Sean to relax and me to get some work done for my mom. plus Nana Bev is coming up while we are there and she will get to meet Sean and David for the first time.
And none of this would be possible without our tax returns. So . . . Yeah For Tax Returns!!

Long Week

Wow this has been such a long week! Lets see . . . the base inspection started this week so Sean hasn't been able to be around much. The beginning of the week his shop was making them work 12 hour shifts everyday but then cut it back down to 8 hour shifts towards that later end of the week but they all had to work Saturday and Sunday (today). So one week down and 2 left to go until the inspection is over.
But we did get to celebrate Sean's birthday on Friday night! His birthday is not until the 10th but another friend of ours, Andrew, his birthday was on the 2nd so we did a combined birthday party this weekend. We had finger food and played the new Mario bros on the Wii. It was soooo fun! We also had our super Nintendo out so more people could play at once. The boys each got their own cake but everyone forgot candles so we used tall tapered candles for each of them it was great! Once the computer gets fixed we will post pictures.
David has just been growing and moving. He claps, waves with one hand, and climbs on everything he can. Like on Friday I was unloading the dishwasher. David loves the dishwasher and always stands next to it and trys to pull the silverware out. The door was down and he was interested in the soap compartment on the other side of the dishwasher since there were no dishes to play with. I turn around to put a couple of dishes away and when I turn back he was on the door of the dishwasher. I think if the rack hadn't been inside he would have crawled completely in. But it was really cute.
Ass for me I have been feeling a bit off this week and unmotivated. The inspection and Seans work hours has not made it possible for me to go work out the last 2 weeks so hopefully I can do that more this week and feel better this week. But overall doing really good.
