Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day everyone! So sorry we didn't send cards or anything . . . we still love you and are grateful for all that you have and continue to do for us!

We are all doing well here. Sean just finished his first term back at school. We don't know his final scores yet but he should have an A or B in both classes. Woohoo! He has about a month break from school and will start again in June. As of tomorrow though, he will be starting his final portion of training in his career field. It has taken a year for them to get him into training so we are excited that he finally gets to start. The only downside is that he cannot take any leave during training so we won't be going anywhere for about 6 months. Lets see . . . he has also been released from his calling at church as a member of the Stake Young Men Presidency and will hopefully be called on to do something else soon. He is excited about a new work bench that he built in the garage and is working on turning the garage into his man cave.

I, on the other hand, am excited about working on the inside of the house. We have been here for a year now and I have picked out some paint color and once we get the money I will start painting and getting our place to feel like ours. I have also been working on our scrapbooks and genealogy as much as possible. Our church has come out with some free web classes about how to search for Irish ancestors and have been trying to do those. It was really helpful. I now know on a map where some of the Campbell ancestors lived in Northern Ireland. The hardest part about it is that you have to pay to look at records and that is just not in the budget. Oh well I will get there somehow :). I have also started my bookkeeping class and I love it. These first few chapters are easy review of the stuff i learned in college and am excited to learn new things. Life is good.

Little David is doing good too. He is just about 11 months old already! Next month he will be 1! I can hardly believe it. He is getting so big. At his last doctors appointment he was 23.5 lbs and was just shy of 30 inches long. His teething blisters have gone away and 2 of his top molars are breaking through the gums. It also looks like 2 of his bottom molars are about ready to break through as well. He is also moving around like crazy. He can take-off crawling. He is walking more and more. I can usually have him hold one of my hands and he will walk next to me. He falls after about 10 of his steps but then uses my hand to get up and try again. I have got a fun video of him walking to daddy. Then he always disappears up the stairs. He loves climbing those things too. I also have a video of that. He has also learned how to open the screen door in the front. My friend Chris found him out on the front step yesterday playing with the hose and storage box. So now we keep the screen doors locked when the normal door is open.
