1st Birthday!

This week was a mello week with great things that happened. Monday it was nice out so after Sean got off of work we went down to the waterpark with another family and played for about 2 hours in the pool. David had a blast and it was quite relaxing for us as well. Then Tuesday the rain started. It rained all week long! I was getting scared that the weather would be bad for Davids backyaerd pool party and bbq that was scheduled for saturday. His actual birthday was Wednesday and we didn't do much, just sang to him and gave him his water table so he would have it already for saturday. We are lucky people, cause come Saturday it was sunny out with not a cloud in the sky.

We were busy all morning getting things ready like: setting up chairs, mowing the grass, filling up the pool and water table, food, drinks, picking up cake, and getting batteries so we could take pictures. We took a lot of pictures! So I will only put some up but they are good. We all just ate, let the children play, and did cake and presents. This video was cake time.
He needed a push to really get into him cake but once he did he had big handfuls going into his mouth! We didn't get this part on video but he grabbed huge handfuls of cake with both hands and shoved them into his mouth! It was great! We washed him in the little pool and then did presents. After most everyone left we cleaned up and let David take a nap. In the evening we went down to the waterpark with a few people from the party and played for just a little bit. For some strange reason it closes early on the weekends. i think that it is dumb but anyways . . . David was sitting in his tube just chillin' with his sunglasses on. So cute!

That was the highlight of the week. Happy Fathers Day to everyone! We love you lots and are so thankful for you! I hope you all have a great day!

Beginning of Summer . . . Finally!

I think summer has finally started in Montana! The sun is shinning and it is getting warm outside. Just in time for Davids birthday!

We didn't get to see much of Sean this week cause they went out changing codes for the missiles. HE went to bed at about 5 or 6pm and then was up at midnight or 1 to get ready for work and wouldn't get home until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. But things will go back to a normal schedule for him next week which we are all looking forward to.

David and I kept ourselves busy with playing with friends and on our own around the house. I hosted a Shelf Reliance party on Tuesday night. It was a lot of fun and we got to taste some of the food storage food and it was delicious! I am thinking about becoming a consultant in a few months when my friend who is doing ti now leaves. We are going to do an expo together and then once she is gone she said I could have all of her customers from here which is pretty awesome.

Then the only show that I really follow is So You Think You Can Dance. Another friend of mine came over to watch it with me on Thursday and her daughter is 2 months younger than David so we stuff David and Bella in the bath together. It was fun.

Friday we had some friends over and they brought their Wii and we played Mario Bros. Saturday I went to the farmers market with Katie and her daughter Riley. Trying to do some repair work on our friendship. Then today is another beautiful day and we were invited over to dinner at the Wilsons' place. They are new friends that just moved here and their son is about 10 days younger than David. So its been fun and going good. Very excited for Davids birthday on Wednesday and his birthday party on Saturday! Lots of pictures to come!

Awesome Week!

So this week has been pretty awesome. It started Memorial Day Weekend. We had planned to go camping but we pretty much got rained out and didn't get to go. It actually worked out for the best. Friday night we had a new guy from Sean work and his wife and kid over for dinner (The Wilsons) They are Mormon as well and thier son Conner is 10 days younger than David. They are quiet but fun.
Then on Saturday we found a sitter for David and the Wests found a sitter for their 2 kids and the 4 of us drove down to the temple in Billings. It is a 3-4 hour drive and then we spent 3-4 hours in the temple. It was amazing. Christina has done a lot of her family history and we were able to preform some ordinances for Andrews grandparents. It was was awesome. Just the spiritual boost that Sean and I needed. After the temple we went to eat at Del Taco which was awesome cause we don't have one and it was yummy.
Sunday was pretty normal day but after David went to bed Sean and I did an inventory on our relationship. As missionaries we did this with our companions and we are trying to do it as a married couple. It breaks down to letting the other person know what your goals are and how they can help you achieve them, bringing up and resolving any conflicts there are in the relationship, discussing areas that you might be weak in as a couple went it comes to being obedient to God as well as being united as a couple, and then making goals to accomplish as of the things you talk about, as well as telling the other person what their strengths are and then asking what your weakness are so that you can work on them. It was very wonderful for us to do together and has made such a big difference even though it has only been a week.
Monday night (Memorial Day) We got the opportunity to go to a lesson with the missionaries. They are teaching this awesome family, a young couple and their little girl who is almost 2. It was fun to get to be a missionary again. Plus this family is really cool . . . we are trying to make more friends and this was another opportunity for us to do that.
The rest of this week went as pretty much as normal except that Monday I got all of the housework and laundry done, which meant that I could do what I want/needed to do while David was asleep and got to play with him while he was awake. So that is my new schedule clean like crazy on Monday to I can play all I want the rest of the week. I just have to keep up on the dishes and cleaning up after my family everyday. Then today we had a heart to heart with another couple with whom things have been weird with lately. Hopefully today helped and we can all be friends again but time will tell.
Sorry for the long post with no pictures this week. Life is just really good for us right now and I wanted to share that with all of you. We love you all and think of you often!
