I'm A Slacker

Sorry (Mom :) ) its been about 3 weeks. Things just keep coming up on Sundays that don't let me blog. Life has felt and been really busy since Davids birthday party. We watched a friends puppy for that next week which i thought would be fun because she is so cute. But have using my house as her bathroom and chewing on everything in sight including Davids new pool (which she popped) I was ready to get rid of her and glad that Cherry was old when we got her. Our friend was nice and gave us the money to buy another pool.

The 27th was a crazy day. We had Aslynn Wests 3rd birthday party we were planning on going to plus my old roommate Brita and her family were coming in the same day to stay with us for a cuple of days. That morning my foot hurt really bad and I couldn't walk on it right. As we were leaving for the party I stepped on it wrong and it hurt so bad that I was crying to Sean said we were going to the er to find out what was wrong. We left David at the party with our friends for 4 hours while we were gone. We had to have the Wests bring Brita on base take them to our house cause we weren't back yet. My foot was fine. Not sure what was wrong; possibly a sprian. The hospital gave me a hard soled boot to wear which actually made it feel much better.

The next day we took Brita and her family (Blake and Sadie) to the water park and had a blast. Then once the kids were asleep we played Settlers of Katan like we did when we were all at BYU-I together. They left Tuesday and then Wednesday nights are our girls nights were we all get together and watch So You Think You Can Dance. Thursday had to do grocery shopping and get packed for camping over Sean's 4 day weekend. I also didn't want to cook lunch that day so we went to the base picnic for lunch. We get all ready for camping and it starts raining off and on. We get the tents all up and it stats and stays raining. Chris West was up there without her husband for the night and her kids were not behaving so she took them home and the Wilsons and us are trying to get our kids to sleep which takes awhile then they both wake up in the middle of the night cause they are cold. I only got one picture from our trip and it was only cause my kid is so adorable! Luckily for us once I put David in the sleeping bag with us he was fine and slept the rest of the night but the Wilsons weren't so lucky. The next morning was beautiful and warm but about 11 am it got cloudy and cold again. So we all decided to pack up and go home. Plus my allergies were killing me and had to breathe the cold damp air through my mouth which gave me a cough that I am still trying to get rid of. On the way down from the mountains my right ear wouldn't pop so I ended up going to the immediate care center and it turned out that because my allergies were so bad that it kept my ear from draining and I now had a very severe ear infection. So the doctor gave me stuff for my ear as well as allergy meds so that this wouldn't happen again.

Last Saturday I spent cleaning up and unpacking from camping as well as a movie night with friends. Then Sunday we went down to the river and watched the fireworks. Had to wake David up to go see them but I think we woke him up too early cause they didn't start until about 10:30 pm and he was asleep by the time they were over. We went down there with the Wests. Aslynn fell asleep on Sean but Nathan loved the fireworks! He was so cute pointing at them and everything. And the rest of this week has been quite normal and relaxing.

Not much to report individually: Sean is still doing training, David is getting the rest of his canine teeth in (Only 4 molars to go and he will have all of his baby teeth), and i am just doing the mom and wife thing.
