Life has been really good and blessed for the Champenois family. Sean is still doing training and working hard for his family. He is getting excited for hunting season as well. He is a little disappointed that he missed the training deadline to do archery hunting this year but still wants to get everything ready to do it next year. The kids he teaches at church told him today that he is the best teacher and that they were going to tell the bishop to not move him but to keep him as their teacher. He really enjoyed hearing that.
I too love teaching my 3 year old girls at church. I was blessed this week to start a new part time job. I have been thinking about going back to work but really didn't want to work very much. Even 20 hours a few feels like a lot so I haven't really done anything about it. My friend Chirs West called me about 2 weeks ago and said that her chiropractor was looking for someone to work for about 10-15 hours a week while his main receptionist has class. He asked her if she knew anyone that would be interested and she said yes and told him a little about me. I called the next day and had two interviews with him and his wife and they hired me! I started on Monday and it is going really good. So Heavenly Father really knows the desires of my heart and orchestrates what needs to be so He can give it to me. Its great! I am also super excited for this coming weekend! Sean and I get to go to the temple on Friday and I start my cake decorating class on Saturday!
Then David is as cute as ever. I shot a video of Sean and David playing together. Its so much fun! We love and enjoy our little boy so much! (Hopefully we will have another little one on the way soon. We will keep you posted on that.) He just keeps growing and we can usually get him to fold his arms for prayer and when we are all done we tell him good job for keeping his hands folded and he starts clapping for himself. So Cute! We hope he will start speaking real words soon.
I am having a hard time getting the video to work. Hopefully it will work for you if not I will try to upload it again.
Wow, Jules! Congrats on the job. That's just perfect. What do you do with David when you're gone? That's my biggest dilemma. David sure is cute!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who lives down the block the watches him for $1.50 an hour and her little boy is only 10 days younger than david. It waorks out for me and her cause David keeps her little one busy while she gets things done.
